Our online course “Bioinformatics Pipeline Development with Nextflow” this week was a great event despite the Covid-19 pandemic. The 18 participants from 9 different countries (USA, France, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, Belgium, Bulgaria, Netherlands, Denmark and Germany) learned how workflow management systems can accelerate their research. By using our browser-based terminal, they were able to directly apply the knowledge gained and together implement and start their first pipeline with Nextflow.
