Our in-person course “Bioinformatics Pipeline Development with Nextflow” last week was a great event. The 11 participants from 4 different countries (Belgium, Germany, Saudi Arabia and Norway) learned how workflow management systems can accelerate their research. By using a linux terminal, they were able to directly apply the knowledge gained and together implement and start their first pipeline with Nextflow.
